GAZA Developments – Oct 2023

Dear Bothers and Sisters and ALL Humanity,

Assalamu Alaikum,

United Sri Lanka Muslim Association of Australia, unequivocally, condemn all forms of VIOLENCE, whether in the name of Religion, Occupation, Justice, EYE for an EYE, Revenge and Rights.

Quran and all religions, condemn any form of killings, violence and murders. Time and time again over the thousands of years, this has been the principle message from the Allah Almighty.

The biggest casualty of war is children, mothers and all innocent civilians.
We demand that this STOP immediately.
GENOCIDE, Murders and Occupation of any sort, stealing land and illegal occupation MUST END.

USMAA sends its message to all parties in this current development to PAUSE and withdraw from your consumption of RAGE and HATRED.

We urge the MUSLIM UMMA all over the world to FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHTS through peaceful means.

May the Almighty GOD grant us the strength, courage, and willingness to FIND peaceful means to end all WARS and Disagreements.

Violence is not the PATH OF ISLAM and has NEVER been.

May the ALMIGHTY Guide US and PROTECT US FROM ALL EVIL.

AMEEN.

Mulgrave Community Centre – Hall Bookings and Hall Grants

Salaams to our USMAA Community,

USMAA Committee has submitted the application to Monash Community Grants Program for the “Halls Only” Grants. This is the title of the Grants application, which has been lodged and submitted on the City of Monash Portal – Smarty Grants. This was submitted on the 1st March 2023.

USMAA Committee had already applied to hire this hall (for the next three years) back in November 2022.

The “Hall Only” Grant application is the next step for the hire and bookings of this hall for the period 1 July 2023 – 30 June 2026. This grant application is for the next cycle of three years. This grant when approved is given “in kind”, hence it is not a cash grant, is then applied towards the fee of the hall bookings application.

Insha-Allah – We ask the Almighty Allah to make this application successful. Ameen.

The outcome is usually announced by the month of May.
