Sri Lankan Night 2021

After several months of lockdown, we were able to host our first in-person event for this financial year. The Sri Lankan Night was well received by the members and we had over 80 participants including children. The whole purpose of the event was to allow our members to socialise with each other and enjoy the Lankan delicacy – Hoppers!! Our members turned out in colourful attire and prizes were awarded to best dressed male, female and child. We had some classical Sri Lankan instrumental music playing in the background, yummy hoppers and curries to warm our bellies and great company of one another to round off a fantastic event. Hoping for more in future in sha Allah. A big thank you to all our members and especially the volunteers who made everything possible.
