New Migrant and International Student Assistance Program

New Migrant Family and International Student Airport Pickup Volunteer Program

As per USMAA ‘s Mission statement  we would endevour to :
• Support new Sri Lankan migrants and students to establish themselves

For those volunteers who cannot commit for the long-term, this is an ideal opportunity to earn the reward of Allah and the gratitude of the students/migrants and USMAA.
The way it will work is, volunteers will put their hand up for the airport pickup and provide times when they will be usually available. The MC will enter this information to our database and when there is a possible pickup request, we would match it to an available local volunteer from the pool. (i.e. we would not ask someone from Berwick to drop someone at Werribee).

Student Home-Stay Accommodation Program

For our senior members who may be going through an ‘empty nest’ experience, this is an ideal opportunity to have some company, added security and generate some income from any extra space in the once ‘packed to the rafters’ household. Interested parties can advertise for free on the USMAA website or provide your details confidentially.
