11 July 2026 – Ladies Luncheon – Fundraiser for disadvantaged women and girls in Sri Lanka
Purpose: Our Usmaa ladies have come together to raise funds for this very worthwhile project.
All proceeds will be donated to Awwa.lk to support projects to uplift and empower disadvantaged women and girls in Sri Lanka.
A women’s organization that has been doing incredible work in the Central Province area to uplift and empower disadvantaged women and girls.

1. Scholarships for needy girls in year 11 and 12 to help them get good scores at A/level
2. Providing sewing machines to u employed women
3. ⁠providing training in home gardening and composting
4. ⁠facilitating training in cottage industries such as candle making, soap making and bee keeping
5. ⁠providing incubators to enable women to start a chicken farm
